Carbon steel is defined as any steel with a carbon content of up to 2.1% by weight. With the increase of carbon content, Carbon Steel Bolts will become harder and stronger after heat treatment. However, the toughness of steel becomes weaker. No matter what heat treatment is carried out on carbon steel alloy, the higher carbon content in the material will reduce the weldability of Carbon Steel Fasteners, and also effectively reduce the melting point of bolts. Most carbon steel studs are generally relatively soft. They also show low intensity. However, low carbon steel has high flexibility. High ductility is a characteristic that makes the material very suitable for processing and welding. Unlike other types of steel, the lack of different elements (used as alloys) is the reason why nuts and bolts are called low-cost bolts. The grades of carbon steel nuts and bolts are divided into three different categories according to the carbon content of low carbon steel, medium carbon steel and high carbon steel. Hex bolts (six sided heads) are the industry standard for fasteners with forged heads. ASTM A307 grade A bolts, all SAE hex bolts, and several other common specifications require a standard (finished) hex head. For specifications such as A307 grade B, A325 and A490 that require a heavy hex pattern, refer to dimensional tolerances for heavy Hex Bolt or structural bolts.

1- Q: How long is your delivery time?

A: If the goods are in stock, it usually takes 1-3 days. If the goods are not in stock, it will be 20-30 days, depending on the quantity. Generally, a 20 foot container takes about 30 days.

2- Q: Do you provide samples? is it free or extra?

A: We’d like to provide free samples for standard fasteners, but clients need to pay the express charges.

3- Q: What is your payment term?

A: Generally, 30% T/T in advance , the balance against the draft copy of B/L .

4- Q: I need a customized fastener, but it’s not on your website. What do I do?

A: Please send us your request with detailed drawings or photos, then we will make the quotation for you accordingly. 5- Q: I’m not sure what screws I should be using or I need a little engineering help. Do you guys offer assistance?
